For our drawing class we went to the Junee Roundhouse. There were so many awesome things to draw there, but we only had a day to do the drawing project so I just had to stick to the train engines, they had such a fascinating form with tubes, pipes, wheels, clamps and whatever the hell the rest of that stuff is. It's only A4 size, but I spent about 2 and a half hours on this drawing trying to get the angles and proportions accurate, who knows, a fat controller might peruse this drawing one day and scoff at it. I did like drawing this though, fun times
I will be submitting the larger scale major work with this subject matter soon, when I get around to finishing it.
pretty amazing work here... i like your detailing... nice stuff...

DeviantART has partnered with FAIR to help promote equality through The Love Unites Shepard Fairey Equality Project. We're asking deviants to align themselves with this cause and have their work judged by Shepard Fairey himself!
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
